Ronaldinho to MLS?
There have been plenty of rumors regarding Ronaldinho’s future. One of them is that he is possibly headed to MLS. Of course, the team that is supposedly courting him is the LA Galaxy. They always seem to be involved whenever a big name player is available in the transfer market. This wouldn’t be a wise move for the Galaxy. Their salary [read more...]
Euro 2008 Final prediction
My semifinals predictions fared a lot better than my quarterfinals predictions. The most important part was that Spain made it to the championship game, making my prediction of them being the Euro 2008 winners that much closer to being a reality. They have a tough task ahead of them, having to take down Germany. Spain vs. Germany It’s all come down to [read more...]
Euro 2008 Semifinals predictions
The quarterfinals were a bit rough for me as I was only able to pick one winner. Fortunately, that one winner was Spain, who I chose to win the entire thing. So I’m still feeling pretty confident. Now it’s time to pick the winners of the semifinals. Germany vs. Turkey On paper, this isn’t even a fair matchup. Turkey will be forced [read more...]
Euro 2008 Quarterfinals predictions
After picking 7 out of the 8 teams to make it out of the group stages, I thought I would take a shot at predicting the winners in the quarterfinals. Here’s hoping I don’t come out looking like a fool. Portugal vs. Germany Most thought this game would happen later on in the knockout stages, but because of Germany’s poor play, it’s [read more...]
Euro 2008 Match Day 3 recap
I was only able to cover half of the games this time around. This is because they were airing both games at once, which makes it difficult to write up something about a game I didn’t see. I’m also blocked from espn360.com because my Internet service provider hasn’t signed a deal with ESPN. Turkey 3 – Czech Republic 2 The Czech team [read more...]
Euro 2008 Match Day 2 recap
The second round of games is over and it’s coming down to the wire for most groups. Most of the games went as they should, but there were a few surprises here and there. The biggest story of the tournament so far is just how much the Netherlands is dominating their competition. Another story would be just how little of [read more...]
Euro 2008 Match Day 1 recap
All teams in the tournament have played at least one game so far. Most of the games went the way they should, but there was a shocker thrown in for good measure. Here is how all of the games went. Switzerland 0 – Czech Republic 1 Switzerland did well to hold its own against the Czechs, and were close tying the [read more...]
Euro 2008: Group Stage predictions
Euro 2008, a tournament second only to the World Cup, will begin in just a few short days. I decided I would go ahead and take a shot at predicting the winners of each group, plus who I believe will be the eventual champion. Once the group stage is over, we’ll find out just how fell I fared. Group A: Czech [read more...]
6+5=Fail
After a successful vote at the FIFA congress, the organization plans to implement a “6+5 rule,” which means that a club is required to field a minimum 6 domestic players and a maximum of 5 foreign players. This will spell trouble for leagues that are in countries where the depth of talent isn’t present, such as Major League Soccer. MLS has [read more...]

Website Poll
Poker sites for US players are somewhat hard to come by these days. Aside from the big ones, PokerStars and Full Tilt, mainly smaller, fairly unknown sites are available to Americans. It s a good idea to read a poker room review before you sign up with a site you don t know very much about.
